Pakistani Chai

One cup of water
One teaspoon of tea leaves (Indian or Pakistani. Ceylon may be okay. British/Turkish/American tea won't work.)
Two teaspoons of sugar
Small pinch of cardamom

Full boil for 2-3 minutes. Add milk (2-4%--not cream or skim milk) to make golden brown. Taste it first and check it, to see if you need to adjust ingredient levels. [You need to practice this recipe a few times and adjust amounts. Final amounts might be quite different from those above.] Bring almost to boil again, and strain into cup.

Makes just over a cup of chai. Multiply amounts by 2, 4 or whatever to serve more people.
